Atlantic Dawn

Shore Freezing

The Atlantic Dawn Group own and operate two strategically located shore freezing facilities. They are ideally positioned to receive fresh fish landings from the pure clean waters of the North Sea and North Atlantic waters.

Arctic Fish Processing is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Atlantic Dawn Group. The facility is located at the company’s home port of Killybegs. This is a modern pelagic freezing plant with a daily freezing capacity of 480MT and a cold-storage capacity of 12,000MT. The factory procures fresh catch from local RSW vessels which are among the most modern and sophisticated in Europe. The factory operates with fully automatic packing lines. The fish are frozen using air blast freezers.

Atlantic Dawn Seafoods A/S is located on the Island of Smola in Norway. This factory is also a wholly owned subsidiary of the Atlantic Dawn Group. The location is ideal for receiving freshly caught pelagic fish from Norway's rich fishing grounds. The factory is situated on its own private quay where we pump fresh fish directly from the RSW vessel to the factory.
